University Road Trip for Grahame Gardner!

It’s been a really hectic autumn here at Grahame Gardner as it always is at this time of the year! During September and October, we hit the road embarking on a nationwide tour travelling the length and breadth of the country to visit 23 different Universities over 6 weeks, of measuring and matching over 4,500 students with the new uniforms required for their courses.

That first week or so at university is often a really daunting time for many students and we really enjoy helping to take the pressure off by getting each of them and looking the part ready for the hard work to really begin! The students we help to kit out include those undertaking a wide variety of courses and training pathways such as veterinary, dental, nursing, mental health, radiology, midwifery, healthcare sciences, podiatry, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and orthopics.

It’s certainly a busy time as we ensure all of the students are properly measured and the right order placed. The uniforms are bespoke to university preference, and embroidered with the relevant logo or emblem. Some of the universities also have a MyShop account which means that students can reorder additional, university approved uniforms for their course which makes the whole process extremely slick.

We are always really excited to see the students at the start of their courses full of enthusiasm as they begin their career journey - the excitement as they try on their new uniforms in palpable! To be part of this is really heartwarming for me and the team – yes, it’s busy with lots of travelling but we love it!

To make sure we build on our relationship with the students as they carry on throughout their education and future career paths, we have just launched a new free membership called Club GG. It’s a way for us to keep engaged with the students and also means they can benefit from free samples, latest news, special offers and exclusive VIP perks.
