Grahame Gardner and GFORCE Sportswear celebrate another series of hectic yet successful days at the NEC, Birmingham to exhibit their ranges and services at the 2018 Printwear & Promotion LIVE show. With a record number of visitors attending the event, and a catwalk fashion show in the mix, we were keen to find out what our Head of Marketing, Gemma Puffer thought of the exhibition as a first-time attendee to the annual industry event.

“I have attended numerous exhibitions and industry shows over the years, but being relatively new to this sector I was looking forward to seeing what P&P LIVE had in store for us, as exhibitors but also from a visitor point of view. It’s always nice to go into somewhere with a fresh pair of eyes to be able to provide objective feedback.

Prior to attending the show, I got a sense from the team that P&P LIVE is a lively, friendly and inclusive event and my experience was exactly that. The atmosphere is welcoming, energetic and buzzing – exhibitor stands certainly looked the part and from a logistical point of view, everything went smoothly!

We were very excited with the products we were showcasing, we’ve had some fabulous success with our GFORCE Sportswear dye-sublimation over the last year, and so were very proud to have some of these on show so visitors could see for themselves the endless possibilities for bespoke, custom kit. Similarly, we found our GFORCE Corporate range a big hit too for those looking for something for their business wear solutions.

From the Grahame Gardner side, I was particularly excited to showcase our latest offering which is customised dye-sublimation Vitality and Advance garments.

But the overall highlight was to see our garments feature on the catwalk fashion show! I’d heard a lot about this from the team last year and of course saw the videos and photos – but having been involved in the ranges and products to feature this year, I was particularly excited to see our offering come to life.

I was really happy with our choice, and the models did a fabulous job strutting our stuff! The fashion show ranges included fully sublimated sports kits including the British Virgin Isles Olympic kit we produced for the games in Rio and the bright, bold kit for the England Taekwondo team from 2017. We wanted to take the opportunity to showcase the GFORCE Corporate range, with some unique and creative t-shirt designs, and alongside that our Vitality and Advance range of bespoke, sublimated tunics to show off the latest development in our uniform ranges.

Following each of the catwalk shows, it was wonderful to see so many people head to our stand to find out more and open up enquiries with us.

Overall, the show was fabulous – it was great to experience and see some of the latest trends and developments coming out of the industry, but for me I was exceptionally proud to see our products have such stand out and gain the positive attention they deserve. It made all the preparation and busy days worth every minute.
