 Recent changes in Grahame Gardner’s operational procedures have led to lower costs and reduced delivery times. This has made them a very attractive supplier for Colleges and Universities around the UK and consequently they have scooped numerous large new contracts with medical schools. Great news for the business, but hard work for the Sales Team who, between them, have covered the length of and breadth of the UK, from Aberdeen to the tip of Cornwall.
In total over 5000 students have been measured and over 45,000 garments issued. National Sales Manager Christopher Cocks discusses how this incredible feat was achieved:-
“Over the Summer months Grahame Gardner began working with a bespoke software package which streamlined the manner in which we took measurements. Using this state of the art system we are able to process students measurements quicker than ever before. Whatever the location of the Measuring team, measurements and orders have arrived back at the Grahame Gardner office within 24 hours, meaning that orders can begin to be assembled almost immediately.
Over the past twelve months we have also developed various initiatives to ensure we can be as efficient as possible when we go to measure large groups of people. We know it can be time consuming for all concerned, so have introduced colour coded fitting samples and trouser dispensers in order to speed up the process.
I consider this undertaking to be a fantastic team achievement, by any consideration and a unique accomplishment within the trade.”
